Product Overview
The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors offer a wide resistance range and a maximum operating temperature of +275C, with power ratings up to 22 Watts and voltage ratings as high as 6,000 volts. These axial-lead resistors simplify circuit design and reduce equipment cost by providing full power and voltage ratings without derating, exceptional long-term stability (0.05% per 1,000 hours typical), and higher voltage ratings without minimum wire size limitations. They feature Caddock's patented Non-Inductive serpentine resistive pattern for maximum flux field cancellation, resulting in performance comparable to a straight wire of the same length, leading to faster settling times and minimum distortion in high-frequency circuits. Manufactured under intensive controls and included in the Caddock Reliability Testing Program, these resistors utilize Micronox resistance films fired onto a ceramic core for outstanding stability under various environmental stresses.
