Product Overview
The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors are axial-lead resistors designed for high-performance applications, offering a wide resistance range and a maximum operating temperature of +275C. With power ratings up to 22 Watts and voltage ratings as high as 6,000 volts, these resistors simplify circuit design and reduce equipment cost and complexity. They provide full power and voltage ratings without derating, feature non-inductive performance, and extend the critical resistance value up to 10 times. Constructed with Caddock's proprietary Micronox resistance films fired onto a ceramic core, they exhibit excellent long-term stability (typically 0.05% per 1,000 hours) and are manufactured under intensive controls, including power conditioning and overvoltage conditioning. The patented non-inductive serpentine resistive pattern ensures maximum cancellation of flux fields, leading to faster settling times and minimum distortion in high-frequency circuits. These resistors are included in the Caddock Reliability Testing Program and conform to Mil-I-45208 requirements.
