Product Overview
The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors offer a wide resistance range and a maximum operating temperature of +275C, with power ratings up to 22 Watts and voltage ratings as high as 6,000 volts. These axial-lead resistors simplify circuit design and reduce equipment cost and complexity by providing full power and voltage ratings without derating, high resistance values, and higher voltage ratings without minimum wire size and spacing limitations. They feature excellent long-term stability, with typical stability of 0.05% per 1,000 hours. The resistors utilize Caddock's proprietary Micronox complex metal oxide resistance films, fired onto a ceramic core, ensuring outstanding stability under high ambient temperatures, thermal shock, and high power densities. The patented non-inductive serpentine resistive pattern minimizes flux field cancellation for efficient non-inductive performance, crucial for high-frequency circuits. Manufactured under intensive controls including power, overvoltage, and maximum temperature conditioning, and produced under procedures approved for conformance to Mil-I-45208.
