Product Overview

The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors are designed for high-performance applications, offering a wide resistance range and a maximum operating temperature of +275C. These axial-lead resistors deliver power ratings up to 22 Watts and voltage ratings as high as 6,000 volts, with values extending to 30 Megohms. They provide full power and voltage ratings without derating, featuring non-inductive performance and enhanced high resistance capabilities. Built with Caddock's proprietary Micronox resistance films fired onto a ceramic core, these resistors exhibit exceptional long-term stability, with typical stability of 0.05% per 1,000 hours. The patented serpentine pattern ensures efficient non-inductive construction, leading to faster settling times and minimal distortion in high-frequency circuits. Rigorous manufacturing controls, including power conditioning and overvoltage conditioning, ensure reliability and conformance to Mil-I-45208 requirements.

Derating Curve:

A derating curve is provided, showing power rating reduction based on ambient temperature. Curve A applies to all MS models except MS126, MS151, MS176. Curve B applies to MS126, MS151, MS176.
