Product Overview
The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors offer a wide resistance range and exceptional performance capabilities, designed to simplify circuit design and reduce equipment cost and complexity. These resistors deliver full power and voltage ratings without derating, providing non-inductive performance and extending the critical resistance value. They feature higher voltage ratings without the limitations of minimum wire size and spacing, and exhibit excellent long-term stability with typical performance of 0.05% per 1,000 hours. Constructed with Caddock's proprietary Micronox complex metal oxide resistance films, fired onto a ceramic core at high temperatures, these resistors offer outstanding stability under demanding conditions. The patented non-inductive serpentine resistive pattern ensures maximum cancellation of flux fields, resulting in a truly non-inductive resistor with faster settling times and minimal distortion in high-frequency circuits. Produced under intensive manufacturing controls and rigorous quality assurance procedures, including conformance to Mil-I-45208 requirements, Type MS resistors are included in the Caddock Reliability Testing Program to verify performance across various environmental stresses.
