Product Overview
The Caddock Type MS Power Film Resistors are high-performance axial-lead resistors designed for demanding applications requiring a wide resistance range and high temperature operation up to +275C. These resistors offer power ratings up to 22 Watts and voltage ratings as high as 6,000 volts, with resistance values extending to 30 Megohms. Key advantages include full power and voltage ratings without derating, non-inductive performance, high stability, and enhanced voltage handling capabilities. Built with Caddock's proprietary Micronox resistance films fired onto a ceramic core, they provide excellent long-term stability (0.05% per 1,000 hours) and are manufactured under intensive controls, including power, overvoltage, and maximum temperature conditioning. Their patented serpentine pattern ensures efficient non-inductive construction, leading to faster settling times and minimal distortion in high-frequency circuits. These resistors are suitable for applications where circuit design simplification, reduced equipment cost, and complexity are desired.
