PRECAUTIONS

Use of chemicals: Avoid contact with ammonia, amines, alkali solutions, aromatic hydrocarbons, ketones, esters, and halogenated hydrocarbons, as these can adversely affect the polycarbonate synthetic resin used.

Use of flux: Avoid water-soluble flux during soldering, as it can negatively impact the potentiometer's materials.

Soldering: Prevent solder from flowing onto the upper surface of the PC board to avoid poor contact.

Recommended circuit configuration: Recommended for voltage adjustment (Fig. A). If used for current adjustment (Fig. B), confirm performance under actual operating conditions due to potential influence from contact resistance.

Residual Resistance: Standard units have a sulfurization-resistant film over silver electrodes. Contact for low residual resistance requirements.

Dew condensation: Avoid use in conditions where dew or water drops may form on the resistor surface to prevent reduced insulation or short circuits.

Low Temperature Operation: Customized products for smooth rotary movement in low-temperature environments are available upon request.
