PRECAUTIONS
Use of chemicals: Avoid exposing the potentiometer to chemicals such as ammonia, amines, alkali solution, aromatic hydrocarbon, ketones, esters, and halogenous hydrocarbons, as polycarbonate resins are primarily used.
Use of flux: Avoid using water-soluble flux during soldering, as it may adversely affect the molding material and metal components.
Soldering: Avoid wiring designs and soldering methods where molten solder flows over the upper surface of the PC board to prevent imperfect contacts.
Recommended circuit configuration: It is recommended to use variable resistors as voltage adjusting means. If used as current adjusting means, confirm the influence of contact resistance under actual operating conditions.
Residual Resistance: While typically formed by silver printing with a protective coating against sulfurization, contact us for low residual resistance requirements.
Dew condensation: Avoid using the potentiometer where dew or water drops may occur on the surface, as this can lead to insulation deterioration or short circuits.
Operation at Low Temperature: For low-temperature environments (e.g., car radios), customized products for smoother rotary movement are available upon request. Please specify this requirement when ordering.
