PRECAUTIONS
Use of chemicals: Avoid exposing the potentiometer to chemicals such as ammonia, amines, alkali solution, aromatic hydrocarbon, ketones, esters, halogenous hydrocarbons, etc., as polycarbonate resins are primarily used.
Use of flux: Avoid using water-soluble flux during soldering, as it may adversely affect molding materials and metal components.
Soldering: Avoid wiring and soldering methods where molten solder flows over the upper surface of the PC board to prevent imperfect contacts.
Recommended circuit configuration: It is recommended to use potentiometers for voltage adjustment. If used for current adjustment, confirm the influence of the dynamic contact current on the resistor body and contact spring under actual operating conditions.
Residual Resistance: The electrode parts are typically formed by silver printing with a carbon coating for sulfurization reliability. Contact us for low residual resistance requirements.
Dew condensation: Avoid using the potentiometer in conditions where dew or water drops may occur on the resistor surface, as this can lead to reduced insulation or short circuits.
Operation at Low Temperature: For low-temperature environments, customized products with comfortable tactile feel can be provided upon request. Please specify this requirement when placing orders.
