Important Information On The Application Of Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitors
- DC aluminum electrolytic capacitors are polarized and must be used with correct polarity.
- Use capacitors within their rated voltage. Peak voltage should not exceed the rated voltage.
- Avoid rapid charge and discharge for general-purpose capacitors.
- Storage: Recommended conditions are ambient temperature 5~35, humidity 75%RH. Storage life 12 months. Capacitors stored for over 12 months require charging before use. Capacitors stored for over 3 years should be discarded.
- Ensure applied ripple current is less than the rated value to prevent overheating and premature failure.
- Ambient temperature significantly affects lifespan; a 10 decrease can double the life.
- Avoid applying excessive force to lead wires to prevent internal damage.
- Be mindful of heat resistance during soldering processes.
- Ensure PC board mounting hole pitch matches the product's lead pitch.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents and drying procedures after soldering. Avoid halogenated solvents if possible.
- Do not use adhesives, fixatives, or coating materials containing halogenated organic compounds. Avoid covering the sealing area.
