Operating Precautions
- Polarity: Do not reverse polarity.
- Prohibited Circuits: Avoid high impedance, coupling, time constant, series connection for higher voltage, and circuits sensitive to leakage current.
- Over Voltage: Do not exceed rated voltage.
- Sudden Charge/Discharge: Restricted; use protection circuits if rush current exceeds 10A or 10x allowable ripple current. A 1k resistor is recommended for leakage current measurement.
- Soldering: Adhere to specified conditions to prevent increased leakage current and capacitance reduction.
- Reuse: Do not reuse AishiCAP that have been assembled and energized.
- Storage: Store between 5-35C, <75% RH, away from direct sunlight, water, brine, oil, condensation, poisonous gases, UV, or radioactive rays. Use within 1 year after delivery (unsealed) and within 7 days after opening. Products stored for over 3 years should be discarded.
- Cleaning: Refer to manufacturer's recommendations for cleaning agents and methods (e.g., HCFC, alcohol, petroleum, water-based).
- Circuit Design: Use within specified ratings. Operating above 105C or with excess ripple current reduces life. Leakage current may rise slightly after soldering but self-repairs with DC voltage. Applied voltage should ideally be less than rated voltage.
- Failure Mode: Primarily short circuit, leading to overheating and potential case rupture.
