Storage
- Store between 5 to 35 (less than 3 months if 35 to 85), RH 75%, away from direct sunlight.
- Open package just before use and use up quickly.
- Avoid storage in environments with water, brine, oil, condensation, poisonous gases (H2S, SO2, NO2, Cl2, NH3), or UV/radial rays.
- Storage time: Within 1 year after delivery (before unseal); Within 1 month from opening (after seal).
Operating Precautions
- Polarity: Do not reverse polarity.
- Prohibited Circuits: Avoid high impedance, coupling, time constant, series connection for higher voltage, or circuits sensitive to leakage current.
- Overvoltage: Do not exceed rated voltage.
- Sudden Charge/Discharge: Use protection circuits if rush current exceeds 10A or 10x ripple current. Insert a 1k resistor for leakage current measurement.
- Soldering: Adhere to specified conditions to prevent increased leakage current, capacitance reduction, or cosmetic defects. Do not reuse assembled or energized capacitors. Reflow soldering is not applicable to radial lead types.
- Handling after Soldering: Do not tilt, bend, or twist. Do not move PCB by catching the capacitor. Ensure no contact with other components when stacking PCBs.
