Operating Precautions

- Reuse: Do not reuse assembled or energized capacitors.
- Storage after one year: Apply rated voltage for 2 hours at 105 with a 1 k resistor.
- Reflow soldering: Not applicable for radial lead type capacitors.
- Handling after soldering: Avoid tilting, bending, or twisting; do not move PCB by catching the capacitor.

Notes on Circuit Designs
- Performance: Use within specified rating and performance ranges.
- Operating temperature and ripple current: Exceeding limits can shorten life and increase leakage current.
- Leakage current: May slightly increase after soldering; self-repairable with DC voltage.
- Applied voltage: Recommended to be less than 80% of rated voltage; peak AC+DC should not exceed rated voltage.
- Failure mode: Primarily short circuit, leading to overheating and potential case rupture.
