Operating Precautions
- Polarity: Do not reverse polarity.
- Prohibited Circuits: High impedance, coupling, time constant, series connection for higher voltage, circuits sensitive to leakage current.
- Over voltage: Do not exceed rated voltage.
- Rapid charge/discharge: Unsuitable if instantaneous current exceeds 10A or 10 times allowable ripple current. A protection circuit is recommended.
- Soldering: Adhere to specified conditions to prevent increased leakage current and capacitance reduction.
- Storage: Store between 5-35, <75% RH, away from direct sunlight, water, brine, oil, condensation, poisonous gases, UV, and radiation. Opened bags should be used within 1 month. Unopened products within 1 year of delivery. Products stored over 3 years should be discarded.
- Cleaning: Compatible with HCFC, higher alcohol system, petroleum system, terpene system, water system with surface active agent. Consult manufacturer for details.
Notes on Circuit Designs
- Operating Temperature and Ripple Current: Exceeding 105 or overload ripple current can shorten life and increase leakage current.
- Leakage Current: May rise slightly after soldering but self-repairs with DC voltage.
- Applied Voltage: Recommended to be less than rated voltage. Peak AC+DC should not exceed rated voltage.
- Failure Mode: Primarily short circuit, leading to overheating and potential case rupture.
