MLCCs may fail in a short circuit mode when subjected to severe conditions beyond specified ratings. To avoid failure, follow these precautions:

  • Soldering Profile: Follow the temperature profile graph to prevent cracks from sudden temperature changes.
  • Manual Soldering: Handle soldering irons carefully to avoid direct contact with the ceramic body and select appropriate tips and temperatures.
